I am a rocket scientist, who now works at a space physics lab in Boulder, CO. I hail from a random smattering of midwest states and North Carolina, but have spent a considerable time in New Hampshire during graduate school. In 2013, I moved to Colorado for a post-doc position with my partner Matthew, carpenter extraordinaire, and my cats and dear pit bull, Edith. We eventually bought a house in the foothills outside Boulder, and adopted a ridiculously damaged little pit bull mix, who is going through intense emotional healing with lots of treats and love. We spend our time cooking vegan foods, hiking the lovely canyons and mountains around us, seeing live music as much as possible, going on adventures around the world, and cuddling with the cats and pit bulls when we can.
